Honours Project Development

Honours Project
So as a recap or encase I have failed to mention, For my honours project I have chosen to do An animation on two character I have been developing  from week 4 of last semester. The purpose of this animation is to apply the findings of my research of personality and emotion and how they affect action, reactions and interaction. along with the reversed process. My project is more towards show personality and emotion through these actions, reaction and interactions, for this I developed profiles and stories in order to feature and display the attributes of the characters Mary & Lilly.
During their development. Other theory's and concepts from my reading material also became resonating factors of their design. Some of these were Honesty to the character this come close to Believability, I look at this as How far can Lilly and Mary go before they are acting against their character that I had established when designing their profiles and biographies. If they do cross that fresh hold did I previously suggest that this could happen?.
My critical framework will be used to Analysis  two films in a form of case study currently the case study is focused on Wall:E,  The other half of my project focuses on the reiteration and evulation of work I am conducting.

Storyboards
Since my last post about the storyboards a large leap in development has accoutred, The beginning of the story was cut out and changed. This was due to the reason previously stated on the last post, The first half of the story did not feature Mary's personality well enough along with showed a much older conception of Lilly's Personality.
Here is the first revision of the story in storyboard form:

This version of the story now starts inside of Mary's room the general feel of the story was no longer this is the first time Lilly has been invited to Mary's house. Instead it takes plays with both characters being my friendly towards each other and be more accustomed to each others presence.

This second set of storyboards is relatively the same story however been re-staged in order to make better use of the flow of the story and hopefully make it more understandable.

Animatics
In order to present the story I prepared them into animatic's currently without sound. This was in order to help with the flow of timing and test how the storyboards held up toward telling the story in a early animation form.
 First Presented Animatic:

Redrafted Animatic:

One of the main points brought out from my own observation confirmed by my supervisor is the size of the characters in the establishing shot. They are rather small and will required rescaled. However my advisor has suggested that I produce a 3D version of the animatic this will also help toward preparing the start of each scene when it comes to animating.
